Winter 2009 and Spring Birthdays

This page contains several sets of photos from various winter activities.  So far we just have some pictures from a trip to the Indianapolis Children's Museum and one of our rare sledding days.  This was the first sledding day and we only had about 4 inches of snow.  We did make another sledding trip a few weeks later after 16 inches of snow.  The sledding was much better that day.  I'm also putting Erik and Kristofer's birthday pictures on this page.  They are now 10 and 5!!

The skywalk from the parking garage to the museum has a dead end as they reconstruct the entrance

The new entrance starts to take shape and should be done by Summer 2009

The former Cinedome was converted to Dinosphere several years ago and flying dinosaurs hang over guests

Kristofer can do this at home but they love playing with the toy dinosaurs at the Dinosphere exhibit

This sledding hill is in the Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park, located only 2 miles from our house!

The boys love sledding but the mild Indiana winters only allow us 2 or 3 changes per year

Erik and Kylan start to bring their sleds back up the hill

Kristofer didn't want to wait for this picture...he wanted to go!

The boys have way too many stuffed animals and here Kristofer makes a mess of them

Erik and Kylan get excited about Kristofer opening his birthday presents

Kristofer was happy about his Fun Slides while Erik and Kylan plot how to get them (they turned out to be big duds!)

Kylan was very excited about his new plane that doubled as a bubble maker

"I rate this present a 10!"

Brian's cousin, Glenda Vega, and her husband, George, were in town from Tucson to watch Arizona in the NCAA Midwest Regional  basketball tournament and were able to join us to celebrate Erik's birthday
