Spring 2009

A variety of events from this Spring.  The first was from Easter which we hosted at our house.  The second is the annual Hispanic Festival at the boy's school.  Each class prepares a dance or song and performs at a program.  The music is from a specific country and the students learn a lot about that country.  Erik's country was Spain and Kylan's country was Nicaragua.  The final set of pictures are from Kristofer's t-ball season.  Brian is an assistant coach.

Kristofer T-ball      Back to Top

Opening day always starts with a parade where all the teams gather in the parking lot of Oaklandon Elementary

The Rockhounds show off their banner (Kristofer is second from left)

Kristofer had his "Mr. Cool" look going before the parade

Each player signed the banner that led the parade and hangs on our dugout at games

Who carried the banner went back and forth between fighting over it and no one wanting to carry it

The view of all the teams walking down Oaklandon Road to the park was a great sight

Kristofer is #4 as the team nears the end of the parade (nearly a mile long)

When we reached the park all the teams waited in the outfield for the opening cermony

I think I was trying to get Everett to smile

Kristofer was wore out after an early morning, the long parade and his first game
