Christmas 2008

We had a fun Christmas this year.  Brian's parents and Becky and Chad and family all traveled from North Dakota to Indy to celebrate the holiday.  Becky and Chad were delayed for 3 hours on I-65 north of Lafayette due to ice.  We went to Mass Christmas Eve evening and let the kids open some of their presents.  Santa made a visit that night and the kids opened most of their presents Christmas morning.  Patrick and Melissa and Ann joined us for Christmas dinner.

The day following Christmas we met Brian's aunt and uncle Barb and Wayne Parker as well as Jodi and Chris and their families in Louisville.  Louisville is halfway between Indy and Nashville so it was an easy day trip for everyone.  We rented a nice suite at a hotel and had the pool to ourselves most of the afternoon.  We also enjoyed surprisingly warm weather with temps in the low 70s.
